Wilbur

Wilbur's was originally purchased as a pet. His owners quickly realized that caring for a pig requires much more than they had anticipated. Unprepared for the commitment needed to meet Wilbur's needs, they embarked on the challenging task of finding him a new home. Sadly, there aren't enough rescues with space for all the pigs needing homes, and Wilbur’s story is all too common. Fortunately, at that time, we had space at Welcome Home and warmly welcomed Wilbur into our family.

Wilbur is a true gentleman. He is kind, a bit shy, and full of character. He adores belly rubs and can't get enough of them. His best friend, Bella, is always by his side, and the two can often be found cuddling together, enjoying each other's company.

Now, Wilbur lives the life every pig deserves: He enjoys proper food, comfortable housing, a multitude of friends, and an abundance of love. His days are filled with joy, companionship, and the care he needs to thrive.
