Digbert’s journey to Welcome Home began when he was surrendered by an alpaca farmer who didn’t want to deal with his crooked front leg. Despite his physical difference, Digbert’s spirit is unbroken. His leg doesn’t hinder him in the slightest — he runs and plays with the same enthusiasm as any other alpaca.

Though Digbert is very shy, his adorable teddy bear face and gentle demeanor make him absolutely irresistible. He loves basking in the sun and enjoys the simple pleasure of snacking on bananas, his favorite treat.
