We had our very first lamb rescue on New Years Day of 2021-We welcomed Sheldon and Eloise first and then Millicent, Franklin and Bysa came the following weeks after. Lambs are born in the industry for use of their wool and meat. These sheep (lambs at the time) were categorized as 'bummer' lambs as they either were rejected by their mom or had a health issue all of which the farmer didn't want to take the time to care for them. This caused them to be discarded since they wouldn't make any money in the farming industry. Luckily we were able to save these 5 from their fate and show them all the love they deserve. Sheep are dynamic, wise, perceptive, incredibly silly and complex beings that bring a smile and happiness to everyone who is around them.
